MK Asset Brokerage leased 88,158 SF in Franklin Park to Champion Logistics Group, underscoring the continued strength of the O’Hare market, announced Hugh Williams, Partner and Managing Broker of MK.
Champion leased 11060 Copenhagen Court in Franklin Park, IL, becoming its seventh U.S. location and second in O’Hare to its 500,000 SF facility in nearby Northlake. Champion was represented in the transaction by Harley Korman of Korman Lederer and Associates. MK’s Williams and Matt Knafel, Senior Associate, represented the landlord, MK Copenhagen, LLC.
“The building’s proximity to O’Hare and the interstate network, along with the nearby labor pool make this an ideal location for full-service logistics companies and high thru-put distributors,” Williams said. “When the Bypass project is completed in 2022, high-quality space in this submarket will be even more in demand.”
11060 Copenhagen sits on 4.1 acres, has 17 exterior docks, active rail service (Union Pacific), six rail doors, new LED interior lighting and 1,500 SF of newly constructed office space.
