Investment Property Advisory Services, LLC and MK Asset Brokerage Form Exclusive Alliance; Addition of Bill Rodney Adds Further Expertise to MK Asset Brokerage
Des Plaines, IL (January 17, 2022)—MK Asset, a real estate investment and management services firm, has announced an exclusive alliance between MK Asset Brokerage (MKAB), its brokerage division, and Investment Property Advisory Services (IPASER), an investment property real estate brokerage firm.
The strategic alliance combines the infrastructure of MKAB’s commercial brokerage platform with Investment Property Advisory Services’ national triple net (NNN) expertise. As an MKAB Alliance, Investment Property Advisory Services will remain under its current leadership structure and ownership.
IPASER is led by its storied founder William ‘Bill’ Rodney. He is a former Deputy Commissioner of the Real Estate Division for the Chicago Department of Aviation where he was responsible for managing in excess of 75,000,000 square feet of leasehold airport assets—O’Hare International and Midway Airports—by facilitating the planning and negotiations of use and lease agreements with new and existing carriers and non-retail tenant.
As an investment property broker, Rodney has consulted on and completed scores of NNN transactions with major retailers including Walgreens, Starbucks, Staples, and Family Dollar. Additionally, Rodney began his brokerage career working with buyers and sellers of multi-family apartment buildings primarily on Chicago’s Southside, a market where he was a dominant broker for many years. In total, he has completed more than 200 transactions valued in excess of $175,000,000.
“Bill has 35 plus years of business and practical experience and continues to look creatively forward to bring about solutions for clients and associates,” said Hugh Williams, Managing Broker, MKAB. “He is one of the most positive, optimistic people I have ever met—the type of person you want to surround yourself with, personally and professionally.”
Rodney is a former registered securities representative with an expertise in 1031 exchange transactions. He is also earned an MBA from the Booth Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago.
